Materion Advanced Chemicals is built on the rich legacies shared by the subsidiaries of Williams Advanced Materials. Since 1964, CERAC, inc. has manufactured specialty inorganic materials, physical vapor deposition (PVD) materials, and is the leading manufacturer of PVD materials for optical applications in North America.

The wholly-owned subsidiary’s growth is attributed to product diversity, innovation and customer satisfaction.
Academy Corporation, based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, provides precious and non-precious metals, and refining services to customers in a number of technically demanding end-use markets.
Materion Advanced Chemicals Markets:
Its North American manufacturing capabilities include intermediate form products such as gold and silver sputtering targets, large area metallic sheet material, fine wire, and rod and powder. Academy Corporation was acquired by Brush Engineered Materials in 2010 through its wholly owned subsidiary Williams Advanced Materials.
