Transparent Conductive Oxides
Transparent Conductive Oxides
Materion Barr Precision Optics and Thin Film Technologies is a leading provider of thin film, transparent conductive oxide coatings for a number of applications, including heater windows, buss bars, and LCD flat panel displays. Materion can employ a number of different deposition technologies and can provide high temperature or low temperature deposition processing.
Sputter Deposited ITO (PVD)
Deposited onto substrates at ambient temperatures, including plastics
Range of Ohm’s: 10-400
Can be patterned: shadow mask, etchback or lift off
Transmission range: 400nm – 2µm
Electron Beam evaporated ITO (PVD)
Deposited onto substrates that can withstand temperatures up to 275°C
Range of Ohm’s: 10-400
Can be patterned: Shadow mask or etchback
Transmission range: 400nm – 2µm
Materion has the capability to provide large area, thin film deposition services on a variety of substrates such as plastics, metals and composite materials. Large area coatings are performed in our highly configurable coating chambers. Dimensions up to 8’ diameter x 14’ length employing multiple large capacity electron beam guns and custom masking techniques. We can coat very large components or configure the chamber with tooling that will hold thousands of smaller parts, providing a cost effective solution.
