BrushForm 158 UNS Number C72900
Copper Nickel Tin Alloys
BrushForm 158 UNS Number C72900
BrushForm 158 Strip by Materion Brush Performance Alloys is a high-performance, heat treatable spinodal copper nickel tin alloy designed to provide optimal formability and strength characteristics in conductive spring applications such as electronic connectors, switches, and sensors. It is available in both pre-heat treated (mill hardened) and heat treatable (age hardenable) forms.
Advantages/benefits of BrushForm 158
BrushForm 158 exhibits strength and formability similar to copper beryllium Alloys 25 and 190. It does not contain beryllium, so it can be used in applications where a beryllium-free alloy is desired.
BRushform 158 Marktes and applications
