1. Brush Performance Alloys Broadens Toughmet Alloy Aerospace Materials Specifications

   Aerospace Materials Specifications for ToughMet® 3 TS160U Rod/Bar and AT110 Plate were approved by AMS Committee D and published by SAE’s Aerospace Materials Division Council.

2. Materion Brush Japan Receives Supplier Certification from Omron

   Omron, a global leader in automotive electronics, recently named Materion (Brush) Japan Ltd. a subsidiary of Materion Brush International, Inc. as a “certified” supplier.

3. Model Beryllium Standard

   On February 6, 2012, the United Steelworkers announced that they, along with Materion Brush Inc., submitted a model beryllium standard to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). 

4. Toughmet® Alloy Recognized In New Aerospace Materials Specifications

   Two Aerospace Materials Specifications for ToughMet®3 AT110 Rod/Bar and AT110 Tube were approved by the AMS Committee D and published by SAE’s Aerospace Materials Division Council. These wrought spinodal alloy product forms now are approved for improved property combinations and/or increased size range.
