The manufacturing of Materion Packaging and Braze Products employs a wide range of methods to meet the varying needs of the marketplace. Internal casting, alloying, metal working processes, plating, stamping and machining are supported with experienced material scientists and craftsmen. Stamping and Machining
Materion Microelectronics and Services is vertically integrated with respect to many of our stamping and precision machining technologies. We maintain extensive tooling library with over 15,000 blank, multi-up, or progressive dies to address square, rectangle, oval, special shape, flat or drawn, thin or thick products. We further assist our customers with the development of customized dies using our two in-house EDM machines. These EDM machines have also be used to develop customized and complex machined parts directly from the starting materials.
