Engine block terminal connections require extreme performance characteristics necessitating a connector system that can offer a stable electrical connection over long periods of time at high temperature (150o-200o C) and harsh environments.

Materion Solution:

Offer a very stable material using high-performance copper alloys for the connector and specially-designed precious metal contact system of Au, Pd, and Ag over Nickel for the contact interface.
