Challenge of Application:
Provide a very stable electrical connection with less than 10 milliohm change over the life of the connector. This must be accomplished at low (50 gram) normal forces and at elevated temperature (175o C) thermal cycling.
Materion Solution:
TECHNICAL MATERIALS has designed multi-layered contact alloys that can be inlayed into high-performance base materials (such as C17410). High-reliability connectors fabricated using this material system outperform traditional plated connectors in high temperature and high vibration critical applications.
