Precision Strip
Materion Technical Materials offers the following Precision Strip capabilities:
Tension Leveling
- Gauges from .003" - .032" x 7.800" maximum width and .032" - .090" x 5.00" maximum width.
Rolling
- Gauges from .005" - .100" x 6.000" maximum width and .0025" - .005" x 3.500" maximum width.
Special Gauge Tolerances
- Materion Technical Materials specializes in narrow-width rolling to special gauge tolerances. We can supply gauge charts with SPC data for each coil processed.
Annealing & Stress Relieving
- Gauges from .0025" - .100" x 6.000 maximum width for 1600o and under.
- Gauges from .0025" - .040" x 3.000 maximum width for 1600o up to 1850o.
- Zinc-bearing alloys: maximum width is 4.500".
Slitting
- Gauges from .0025" - .062" x widths from .156" to 6.000".
Surface Preparation
- Degreasing (aqueous cleaning) for gauges from .005" - .062" x widths up to 6.000".
- Wet Brushing for gauges from .005" - .090" x widths up to 6.000".
- Dry Brushing for gauges from .020" - .125" x widths up to 6.000".
Cut to Length
- Gauges up to .090" x widths up to 7.00" x lengths up to 6'.
