Alloy 275C / Alloy 275CT

Beryllium Casting Alloys

Alloy 275C / Alloy 275CT

Alloy 275C, Alloy 275CT UNS Number C82800

BrushCast® high strength casting alloy 275C provides peak strength and hardness greater than most steels, and offers  thermal conductivity similar to that of aluminum, and up to five times that of steel. Beryllium Alloy 275C offers excellent electrical conductivity, wear and galling resistance, and the accuracy in replicating fine detail in cast components.  Alloy 275CT is a fine grain equivalent to Alloy 275C. Material properties and manufacturing characteristics are similar to that of the standard casting alloy. Grain refinement is achieved through precise additions of either cobalt or titanium. Our fine grain casting alloys are preferred in applications where excellent surface finish characteristics are required in the cast product.
