Supply a material system that has a selective noble alloy in the contact area that functions without change in contact resistance over time and temperature. Inlays of Au or Au alloys are commonly used as well as Au plating. The use of alloys maintains performance while significantly lowering precious metal costs associated with pure Au or Ag.
