Dicing Diamond Saw Cutting

There can be several instances where a customer’s part may be diced out of a larger substrate.

Dicing a part out of larger plates can be required when Materion Ceramics products are not tooled for the customer’s required dimensions and the quantity is not yet conducive for a NRE charge for tooling.

Dicing can be required if the tolerance on the length and width required by the customer is tighter than a pressed part can supply.

Dicing can be an option when the dimensions of the part (very small) makes it more cost effective to dice out of a larger substrate than to press.

Material can be Materion Ceramics supplied or customer supplied.
