Clive Grannum leads Performance Materials, Materion’s largest business segment and a global leader in the production of specialty alloy products, clad metals, beryllium-based metals and ceramics, metal matrix composites, niobium-hafnium metals, and tantalum materials.
Before joining Materion in 2018, Mr. Grannum was President of Olin’s Global Chlorinated Organics business, the world’s largest chlorinated organics enterprise. Prior to Olin, he served as President, Global Chlorinated Organics at The Dow Chemical Company. Prior to Dow, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Plastics Additives at Rohm and Haas. He also held several roles of increasing responsibility at The BOC Group and The ICI Group.
Mr. Grannum earned a Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace engineering from Boston University and an MBA from Yale University.
Mr. Grannum currently serves on the Board of AZZ Inc., a market-leading metals treatment company. Additionally, Mr. Grannum serves on the Board of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Saint Louis and MediNova N.Y., a non-profit organization that provides medical services free of charge to underprivileged communities.
