LEADED NICKEL-COPPER ALLOYS

Nickel copper alloys provide improved strength and corrosion resistance while retaining good formability. They have excellent resistance to corrosion, including marine corrosion and biofouling. Adding lead improves machinability, acts as a lubricant, and in the free machining grades, improves chip break up.  

Our free machining alloys are designed to improve machinability without harming performance, keeping overall costs low for volume specific processes such as cold heading/cold forming.
