MOLDMAX® PLASTICS TOOLING ALLOYS

MoldMAX alloys offer a unique combination of strength, thermal conductivity and good polishability that improve cycle time and part quality in the injection and blow molding process.

THE MOLDMAX PRODUCT LINE

MoldMAX HH® -- a premium copper beryllium alloy with hardness and strength comparable to standard tool steels and thermal conductivity four to six times higher.
MoldMAX LH® -- a copper beryllium alloy with hardness and strength comparable with standard AISI P-20 tool steel along with thermal conductivity that is five times higher.
PROTherm® -- a copper beryllium alloy that offers the highest conductivity of any alloy with tensile strength in excess of 100,000 psi.
MoldMAX XL® -- a beryllium-free alloy with hardness comparable to AISI P-20 tool steel with thermal conductivity two to three times higher.
MoldMAX V® -- a copper-nickel-silicon-chromium (beryllium free) alloy with high conductivity and moderately high strength.
