ALLOY 10X

Alloy 10X is a copper-cobalt-beryllium-zirconium alloy developed for improved high temperature strength and ductility.  Most high strength copper alloys lose significant strength and ductility at elevated temperature.  Alloy 10X retains good strength and ductility at temperatures up to 800 °F/430 °C.

With its combination of good elevated temperature strength and conductivity, Alloy 10X has superior resistance to thermal cracking. It is the copper alloy of choice for sustained operation above 575 °F/300 °C when high strength is required.
