Materion Wins Best Poster Award of CS Mantech Show
At this week’s CS Mantech conference (May 13-16) in New Orleans, Senior Scientist Dr. Alan Duckham of Materion Microelectronics & Services, presented a paper on Developing a Fundamental Understanding of Gold Spitting During Evaporation. The presentation covered the contributing factors recently discovered by the R&D team, as to why gold spits during evaporation and potential solutions to this problem. Co-authors included Lawrence Luke and Robert Sprague of Materion Barr Precision Optics & Thin Film Coatings.
We are pleased to share the news that Materion won the CS Mantech show’s Best Poster Award. View the full technical paper and learn more about how gold spitting impacts sputtering yields.
