Materion’s portfolio of thin film deposition materials include complex chemical compounds such as chalcogenides which come in a variety of compositions. Standard compounds can be made up of as many as five different elements depending on the customers’ requirements. (Examples: Germanium-Antimony-Telluride and Antimony-Telluride-Selenium.) These fully characterized PVD chalcogenides are very pure and as such produce higher yields with less down time during the deposition process.
