Analog Devices Supplier of the Year Award
Materion’s Microelectronics and Services’ Ireland facility was recently awarded Analog Devices’ 2010 Supplier of the Year Award for outstanding customer support. Announced earlier this year, this prestigious honor was presented to the Materion Microelectronics and Services’ organization in September. Philip Corby, Engineering Manager of Analog Devices’ Limerick, Ireland Wafer Fabrication operation, praised Materion’s customer focus, stating "Analog Devices is pleased to announce Materion Ireland as deserving recipients of the Local Site Support - Supplier of the Year award for 2010. Materion Ireland has been providing superior shield cleaning services to Analog Devices in Limerick for over 10 years. Throughout that time, the quality, speed and flexibility of the services provided have contributed greatly to the success of our manufacturing operations.” Analog Devices produces integrated circuits that process signals relating to physical occurrences such as light, sound and motion for a broad range of electronic equipment. The company prides itself on its own customers’ satisfaction, and sets exceptionally high standards for supplier quality.
The Materion Ireland team is very pleased to receive the impressive accolade. Aidan Durack, General Manager of Materion’s Limerick-based Precision Parts Cleaning business unit, conveyed his organization’s sense of pride and emphasized their dedication to the long-standing business partnership, commenting "Materion Ireland is proud to be a valued partner of Analog Devices Ireland and will continue to work towards provision of a complete range of value-added services. In the ten years we have been supplying Analog Devices, we have worked towards a cooperative, mutually beneficial relationship that will continue to contribute to the success of both companies."
This latest recognition represents Materion's ongoing commitment to exemplary customer service and support; the business unit received their first award for service excellence from Analog Devices in 2006.
