Winning such an award means going the extra mile, and in today’s competitive environment only those who deliver continuous improvement can expect to remain the customers’ first choice in a partner.”
One of the products Materion Microelectronics & Services developed with Skyworks was EVAPro IV™. Evapro IV uses a proprietary method to produce high purity, low spitting materials leading to improved value for Skyworks and a significant product enhancement for Materion.
Further commenting on the Supplier of the Year Award, Materion Advanced Metals Group President Donald G. Klimkowicz stated: “Materion is pleased to have served industry leader Skyworks and honored to receive this award. It represents a team effort led by sales and supported by the Materion Microelectronics & Services business unit which includes marketing and R&D, operations and administration. An award like this is not possible unless the entire organization works together to meet the needs of the customer and our Buffalo and Brewster plants are to be especially commended.”
Klimkowicz concluded that “this award belongs to the Skyworks Newbury Park Wafer Fab as much as it belongs to Materion - and we would like to extend our thanks. It is a symbol of our partnership that we hope will extend into the future as we continue our strategic relationship for success.”
