DELIVERING METALLIZATION SERVICES TO INCREASE PERFORMANCE

Materion metallization services deliver strong, hermetic bonds between ceramics and other components to maximize the electrical properties of our customers’ products. Our metallization services allow a material to be plated with a variety of metals including nickel, gold, silver and copper. Our Metallization process can also be applied in patterns for more intricate designs. We can also metallize machined parts, which permits ceramics to be attached to other components by methods such as brazing or soldering.

Materion offers several metallization techniques. Depending on part shape, size, and complexity the metallization layer may be applied using:
